About Me

As a children's picture book author and poet, I'm dedicated to creating captivating stories and poetry that readers can enjoy and relate to. With a passion for storytelling and a love for language, I aim to inspire and entertain with my writing, and to encourage a lifelong love for reading and creativity in children. Combined with the colourful and original illustrations by talented artist Lisa De Souza, my verses deliver engaging narratives that I hope resonate with both children and adults, making my books and poems a valuable addition to any family's library.

My picture book process is driven by a desire to create meaningful and memorable stories for my young audience. Every story is carefully composed to spark curiosity, encourage empathy, and celebrate the wonders of imagination. With each turn of the page, I invite children on whimsical adventures and encourage them to explore the beauty of language and the joy of storytelling.

My poems, some aimed at children and others at parents, give an insight into reflections on day-to-day life, both from my perspective and the shared perspective of those I encounter.
